Associated Asphalt Partners LLC is seeking a skilled Transport Driver to join our team. As a Transport Driver, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of asphalt products to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Drive tractor-trailer combination to transport and deliver asphalt products over short and long distances.
• Maneuver truck into loading and unloading position, following signals from terminal operators as needed.
• Drive truck to weigh station before and after product loading and along route to document weight.
• Inspect truck before and after trips and submit report indicating truck condition.
Requirements:
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License with Tanker endorsement.
• 2-3 years of Class A CDL driving experience.
• Solid work history and excellent driving record.
• Strong oral and written communication skills and customer-service focus.
• Ability to understand weigh scales and basic measurements.
Physical Demands:
• Ability to stand and/or walk for long periods of time in a variety of weather conditions.
• Manual dexterity and ability to reach, bend, and move with agility.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50-70 lbs and climb up and down tank ladder as needed.
Working Conditions:
• Work in a fast-paced environment with frequent deadlines and changing priorities.
• May be required to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
