Pediatric Nursing Care

We are seeking a skilled Pediatric Nurse to provide direct care to patients in our pediatric department. As a Pediatric Nurse, you will work alongside a coach to deliver high-quality care in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct nursing care to pediatric patients
  • Establish and revise priorities for patient care activities based on acuity of need, patient preference, and resource availability
  • Initiate and maintain interventions to ensure continuity of safe and effective care for patients
  • Respond to data indicating risk to individual's health and initiate action to correct, reduce, or prevent the risk
  • Seek supervision, consultation, and assistance when unable to perform safely and independently
  • Comply with established hospital and department personnel policies
  • Document patient information in accordance with established guidelines
Requirements:
  • Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing
  • Current RN licensure
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Certifications:
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
