Our Sales Organization is comprised of diverse business segments, each selling across multiple verticals and industries. From Financial Services to Healthcare & Life Sciences, Manufacturing, Retail & Consumer Goods, Communications Media & Technology, and more, our teams cater to various markets and specialize in specific cloud solutions like Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Commerce Cloud, Heroku, or Quip.
The Solution Engineer plays a pivotal role in aligning innovative strategies with technology solutions within complex accounts. This position focuses on partnering with clients and collaborating with internal team members to drive consensus on multi-product technology solutions across the various Salesforce product lines.
Solutions Engineers work on a wide array of assignments, including business development, operations, and IT strategies, as well as product demonstrations. As a trusted advisor, they drive innovative solutions forward while improving business performance. Key responsibilities include:
- Business Problem Solving: Take ambiguous and sophisticated business problems and define the problem, drive innovative ideas, define the opportunity set, and recommend practical next steps.
- Innovation Management: Communicate and evaluate solution options, driving consensus among key collaborators. In some instances, we help clients develop new decision frameworks and governance processes that deliver value far beyond a particular engagement.
- Connect Experiences: Demonstrate software demos and rapid prototyping, showcasing how connected experiences come to life with The Salesforce Solutions.
- Solutioning is fundamental to the SE role. Assist the customer, Account Executive, and Professional Services team with discovery, analysis, and recommendation of strategic solutions for the customer, delivering transformational pitches based on live product demonstrations to validate.
- Discover the customer's business needs and position the best Salesforce solution to achieve those objectives.
- Build and present customized solutions and demonstrations focused on Salesforce products, highlighting how Salesforce accelerates business strategies and provides a path to value.
- Convey a deep understanding of the customer's architecture as it pertains to Salesforce's solutions.
- Orchestrate and lead cross-functional solutions guides, aligning them to the opportunity strategy.
- Develop and deliver the story of the customer experience aided by Salesforce technologies.
- Participate in all relevant product, sales, and procedural training and certifications to acquire and maintain knowledge essential for this position.
A minimum of 2 years of professional experience is required. Preferred qualifications include Salesforce Certifications, previous experience as a solution/sales engineer for a CRM company or similar technology, and basic programming experience in HTML and other web-based technologies.
We offer a competitive salary range of $59,710 to $220,850, depending on location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
