Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Bryan Health. As a Medical Office LPN Float Pool Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing quality patient care and customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians with examinations and procedures, ensuring a professional, confidential, and caring approach to patient care.
  • Coordinate the flow of patients, phone calls, lab work, and nurse visits to facilitate seamless patient care and meet customer service goals.
  • Provide professional nursing care as prescribed by the physician, adhering to the Nebraska Nurse Practice Act and organizational policies.
  • Maintain accurate records, including patient charts and vital signs, to ensure timely and effective communication among healthcare professionals.
  • Schedule outpatient follow-up procedures and appointments, ensuring smooth transitions for patients.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, pharmacies, hospitals, and other medical offices via telephone and computer, responding to messages and inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Educate patients on test preparation and results, promoting adequate understanding and empowerment.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited professional nursing program.
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the State of Nebraska.
  • Basic Life Support (CPR) certification.
Estimated Salary

$62,000 - $72,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
