Electrical Design Engineer

Job DescriptionWe are seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join our dynamic, growing, cross-functional, and geographically distributed team. The selected candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, modifying, producing, testing, debugging, and evaluating complex RF and digital circuit boards and assemblies.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop complex mixed signal electrical PCB assemblies and bring them to production
- Conduct technical projects or phases of projects and coordinate the efforts of electronics technicians as required
- Consolidate results of hardware design elements and conduct independent technical investigations involving the origination or modification of material, component, or process specifications and requirements
- Evaluate vendors, products, and services and work closely with Azure team members, vendors, and subcontractors during the design, fabrication, and assembly phases of projects
- US citizenship due to the nature of the work and contract requirement
- Ability to obtain a TOP SECRET clearance due to contract requirement
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years hands-on experience in design, testing, and validation of printed circuit boards
- Minimum 3 years' experience using a signal generator, spectrum analyzer, network analyzer, and oscilloscope to debug analog, digital, and RF circuits
- Active TS/SCI clearance
- Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
- Expertise in schematic capture and layout guidance with Cadence Allegro tool set
