Clinical Services Supervisor

The Clinical Services Supervisor will play a critical role in supporting the day-to-day operational needs of the outpatient practice, including staffing coverage, office and medical supply inventory management, physician room assignments, and provider schedules.

This individual will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and maintaining a patient-focused environment, while also providing direct oversight to the ancillary staff and supporting planned and unplanned vacancies to ensure optimal workflow is preserved in the clinic.

The Clinical Services Supervisor will work closely with the Practice and Clinical Manager to establish, implement, and maintain practice policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with quality and safety, and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the Practice and Clinical Manager with day-to-day operational needs
  • Providing direct oversight to the ancillary staff
  • Managing the recruitment and retention of staff
  • Ensuring new hires are provided adequate training to display competence
  • Assisting staff in addressing challenges and skill deficits
  • Filling planned and unplanned MA vacancies to ensure optimal patient workflow in the clinic

Requirements include:

  • Medical Assistant (MA) or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification
  • 5+ years Outpatient clinic experience
  • Knowledge of third-party billing requirements
  • Demonstrated customer service skills
  • Strong communication skills with all stakeholders
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
