At Performance Foodservice, we are seeking a skilled Logistics Route Driver to join our team. As a key member of our delivery operations, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and safe transportation of food products to our customers.

About the Job:

We offer an estimated annual salary of $72,500, which is competitive in the industry. This figure is based on the job requirements, location, and market conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver goods to customers within predetermined routes and schedules
  • Ensure the safe and secure loading and unloading of freight
  • Maintain accurate records of hours of service, fuel consumption, and other relevant metrics
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure compliance with Department of Transportation regulations
  • Collaborate with colleagues and vendors to resolve any issues or concerns related to delivery operations

Requirements:

  • A valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) A
  • At least six months of commercial driving experience
  • A clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for the past three years
  • Ability to lift and maneuver heavy loads, including product cases and equipment
  • Pass a post-offer drug test and criminal background check
