Physical Therapist Opportunity

The Physical Therapist is responsible for evaluating patients' physical conditions and needs, and designing and implementing corrective treatment plans according to physical therapy principles. This includes continuous assessment of patient progress and modification of plans and goals as necessary. The Physical Therapist collaborates with other healthcare professionals and maintains accurate and timely medical and business records. Additionally, they have supervisory responsibilities over clinical activities of P.T. assistants and students. Participation in departmental quality improvement activities, community outreach, and program development is also required.

Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited P.T. program - Preferred.
  • Previous experience in acute care - Preferred (entry level acceptable).
  • State of Vermont license - Required (temporary license acceptable on entry).
  • CPR certification - Required.
  • At least 2 recent supervisory references - Required.
STATE LICENSE REQUIREMENTS :
  • Vermont
ADDITIONAL LICENSE REQUIREMENTS :
Weekend Requirements :
On Call Requirements : 1 Saturday about every 7-8 weeks
