We are seeking a highly qualified Transplant Nephrology faculty member to join our team at the University of Minnesota. As a key member of our Division of Nephrology and Hypertension, you will contribute to the academic mission of the Department of Medicine and participate in the teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in Transplant Nephrology and a commitment to excellence in patient care, research, and education. You will work closely with our team to provide comprehensive medical care for patients with kidney disease and hypertension, and participate in cutting-edge research into the causes and treatment of kidney disease.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent clinical care in Transplant Nephrology
  • Contribute to quality assurance and improvement initiatives
  • Participate in Transplant, Division, Department, and hospital medical staff meetings
  • Teach medical students, residents, and fellows

Qualifications:

  • M.D. or international equivalent
  • Graduate of an ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine residency and Nephrology and Transplant Nephrology fellowship-training programs
  • Board eligible/certified with the ABIM in internal medicine and nephrology
  • Licensed or ability to acquire medical license and DEA in the State of Minnesota

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior or current funding to conduct research or outcomes of kidney transplant recipients
  • 3-5 years minimum clinical experience in Transplant Nephrology
