Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team. As an Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for assisting the General Manager in achieving restaurant goals, ensuring customer satisfaction, and controlling costs. This role requires a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
Key Responsibilities
1. Customer Service
Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring orders are accurate, complete, and served within service time goals. Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by responding to customer complaints and resolving issues promptly.
2. Team Management
Lead and motivate team members to work efficiently and effectively. Provide feedback, coaching, and counseling to ensure job duties are performed and all standards, procedures, and policies are achieved.
3. Cost Control
Monitor and control food, paper, labor, and utility costs. Perform tasks associated with cost controls, such as tracking inventory and processing orders.
4. Safety and Security
Ensure compliance with safety and security procedures, including proper use of equipment and adherence to local health department regulations.
5. Administration
Complete all paperwork neatly and accurately, as described by the Operational Resource Guide or as directed by management.
Requirements
To be successful as an Assistant Manager at Apricus, you will need:
1. Previous experience
Previous experience in restaurants, retail, or a position involving customer contact is preferred.
2. Age
Be at least 18 years of age.
3. Education
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent and basic math skills.
4. Experience with Little Caesars
Have a minimum three months of experience with Little Caesars as a certified Shift Leader or have been hired as an Assistant Manager Trainee.
5. Communication skills
Possess excellent verbal communication and interpersonal relations skills.
6. Dependability
Be dependable, hardworking, and able to work under pressure and in stressful situations.
7. Availability
Be able to work a standard schedule of a minimum of 40 hours per week and perform all essential functions of the job.
8. Driver's license
Possess a valid driver's license from the state of residence with a driving record maintained within company guidelines. Possess a reliable vehicle and auto insurance as a primary to complete daily banking and delivery responsibilities as directed by the General Manager or District Manager.
Salary
The estimated salary for this role is $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
About the Role
This is a full-time position that requires a hands-on style of management and physical work such as lifting, squatting, and standing for long periods of time. The Assistant Manager will be scheduled to work a minimum of 40 hours each week and will be responsible for performing all essential functions of the job, including but not limited to:
· The ability to lift and move 55 pounds.
· The ability to reach and move items from as high as 6 feet and as low as 6 inches off the ground.
· The ability to control and utilize equipment safely and correctly.
· The ability to apply pressure to cut through products and/or clean equipment/utensils.
· The ability to count, separate, and weight all types of food products and inventory items.
· The ability to effectively communicate to customers and co-workers.
· The ability to understand directions, instructions, and product specifications.
· The ability to process and complete customer orders.
· The ability to comprehend all training materials and practice standard operating procedures.
· The ability to successfully pass required training programs for certification.
· The ability to use mathematical skills to compute sales totals, percentages, inventory usage, food orders, employee work schedules, cash handling results, and projected business needs.
· The ability to legally drive an automobile adhering to all state and local traffic laws.
· The ability to supervise a number of people at the same time and to motivate them to meet goals, duties, and deadlines.
