Nurse Care Specialist

Opportunity
We're looking for a skilled RN to work closely with providers and medical assistants in our multidisciplinary clinics. As a member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the well-being of our patients through delivery of exceptional care.
Responsibilities
• Develop, discuss, and communicate patient plans or plans of care in accordance with company policy
• Maintain accurate and complete documentation of care services provided to patients
• Use Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system to accurately and completely document nursing functions
• Perform departmental opening and closing functions when assigned
• Demonstrate skills and judgment necessary to provide non-direct care to patients
• Upkeep departmental supplies and inventory
• Upkeep all areas of the assigned department to ensure high levels of cleanliness
• Function as a mentor for current and/or new staff members
• Act as a liaison between other departments
• Effectively and efficiently respond to emergency codes
• Maintain up-to-date certification and medical knowledge
• Follow organization's exposure control plans and bloodborne and airborne pathogens protocol
• Work on a team to surpass departmental goals and objectives
• Demonstrate respect and regard for the dignity of all patients, families, visitors, and fellow employees
Schedule / Location
Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8am to 5pm
Wage / Status
$34.68-$56.90/hour, non-exempt, Union/Bargaining Unit position
