About the Role: As a Physical Therapist at JAG, your primary responsibilities will include:
  1. Collecting and recording patient care data, following department guidelines and regulatory agencies.
  2. Preparing for evaluations, obtaining patient history, and researching unfamiliar diagnoses.
  3. Selecting and administering tests and measures, and synthesizing evaluation results to formulate diagnosis, goals, prognosis, and plan of care.
  4. Establishing treatment plans based on evaluation results, goals, and best practices, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, patients, and support systems.
You will also be responsible for providing education and training to patients and their families, as well as overseeing support staff, including PTAs, ATCs, and PT aides.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy, or a Doctorate degree preferred.
  • Licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state where you will be practicing.
  • Completed state-regulated CEU requirements in relevant states (NY, NJ).
  • Valid CPR license.
  • Experience with EMR software is preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong clinical decision-making skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
