Business Operations Specialist

Yondr is seeking a highly skilled Business Operations Associate to drive strategic initiatives and support daily operations. This role will be critical in scaling our operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly, and solving challenges as they arise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Business Initiatives: Oversee strategic business initiatives, from development through successful execution, under the guidance of the CEO and senior leadership.
  • Project Management: Assist and communicate with executives in decision-making and initiative implementation. Lead and oversee key projects from inception to completion, utilizing best project management practices to ensure timely execution and delivery.
  • Operational Excellence: Identify operational inefficiencies and drive improvements across various departments to enhance productivity and streamline workflows.
  • Cross-functional Liaison: Act as a liaison between different teams, facilitating communication, and fostering collaboration to achieve company-wide initiatives.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze and/or summarize data, as needed, to provide actionable insights, create comprehensive reports, and present findings to the CEO, enabling informed decision-making.
  • Executive Support: Provide comprehensive support to the CEO, including managing schedules, preparing meeting agendas, and conducting research on key issues.
  • Culture and Communication: Uphold and promote the company's values, ensuring effective internal communication and fostering a positive work culture.
  • Office Management: Support needs of NY and LA office staff, including administration of office space.

Qualifications:

  • Proven Experience: 3-5 years of experience in business operations, project management, or a related field, preferably in a high-growth startup or fast-paced environment. Experience working with cross-functional teams and presenting findings to stakeholders.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with operational tools and software (e.g., Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, CRM systems, project management tools).
  • Organizational Skills: Exceptional ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality in all deliverables.
  • Project Management Skills: Demonstrated ability to track project progress, follow up on action items, and ensure accountability across teams to successfully manage complex projects.
  • Self-Motivation: Proven track record of taking initiative and working independently with minimal supervision. Strong drive to achieve goals and meet deadlines without constant oversight.
  • Analytical Abilities: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas effectively.
  • Strategic Thinker: Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, capable of anticipating challenges and providing proactive solutions.
  • Adaptability and Resilience: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Comfort with ambiguity and rapidly changing priorities, demonstrating flexibility in approach.
  • Leadership and Teamwork: Demonstrated leadership skills with a collaborative approach to working across teams and levels within the organization.
  • Office Attendance: Standard hybrid office attendance policy of at least two days per week, including an "anchor day," which has been designated as Tuesdays for the LA office, plus a float date of your choice. Regular, predictable attendance is an essential function of this position.
