Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CT Technologist II to join our team at Tampa General Hospital. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography scans and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain CT scanners to ensure optimal performance and image quality.
  • Prepare patients for CT scans, including explaining procedures and positioning patients for optimal imaging.
  • Collaborate with radiologists to ensure accurate and timely image interpretation.
  • Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to maintain high standards of patient care and image quality.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of CT technology and imaging protocols to stay current with industry advancements.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a school of Radiologic Technologist.
  • Three years of experience as a CT Technologist preferred.
  • ARRT(R) certification and BLS certification required.
  • ARRT(CT) certification preferred.
