Role Overview

Michelin North America is seeking a skilled Global Communications Strategy Manager to join our team at the American Synthetic Rubber Company (ASRC) in Louisville, KY.

About the Role:

  • Develop and Implement Communication Plans: Lead the creation of comprehensive communication strategies that align with business objectives, ensuring effective engagement with employees and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Leadership: Work closely with management to equip them with essential communication tools and skills, enhancing their ability to engage teams and drive performance.
  • Crisis Management: Employ crisis communication principles to identify potential site crises and develop strategies to mitigate their impact, leveraging Michelin's Public Relations expertise.
  • Communication Performance Monitoring: Continuously assess communication performance, gathering feedback from internal sources and social media to inform improvements and enhance brand equity.

About You:

  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Business Communications, English, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in communications, preferably in a manufacturing environment, with success in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Skills: Emotional intelligence, confidence, and strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across departments and stakeholder groups.

Salary Estimate: The estimated salary for this role is around $95,000 - $110,000 per year, based on industry standards and location factors.
