Sevita is committed to supporting the mental health and well-being of children and families. We are seeking a Mental Health Support Specialist to join our team.

About the Role

In this role, you will work directly with youth and families to provide individualized support and guidance. You will work closely with families to develop strategies to address behavioral challenges and promote positive change.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support and guidance to youth with behavioral health concerns
  • Collaborate with families and school personnel to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Deliver therapeutic interventions and activities to promote social, emotional, and behavioral growth
  • Assist in the management of aggressive behaviors as needed using de-escalation, non-restraining, and behavior management techniques approved by BSC and clinical team
  • Document behavioral progress notes and collaborate with team members
Requirements
  • A high school diploma and experience working/volunteering with children
  • A good listener with an ability to empathize while still providing guidance
  • A reliable, responsible attitude and a compassionate approach
  • A commitment to quality in everything you do
Compensation and Benefits
  • $45,000 - $60,000 per year based on experience
