Salary: $95,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience
Job Description:
Job SummaryThis role focuses on providing professional nursing care services in accordance with physician orders, overseeing the design, implementation or delivery of processes, programs and policies using specialized knowledge and skills typically acquired through advanced education.
The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. This position requires a registered nurse (RN) license and basic life support (BLS) certification.
Responsibilities:
- Provides leadership within nursing by providing direction and priority setting in regards to patient care.
- Develops and maintains collaborative relationships between all members of the Health Care Team inclusive of administrative, clinical, research and inpatient partners.
- Acts as a resource for all staff in regards to education, planning, relocating and development of evidence-based, best practice clinical programs pertaining to the specialty or primary care patient population.
- Mentors and actively participates in overseeing all clinical support staffing in the ambulatory clinical setting; delegates responsibilities appropriately and within scope.
- In conjunction with satellite clinical and administrative leadership, participates in coordinating any transition of patient care from the satellite setting to another in collaboration with and maintaining open communication with a wide range of interdisciplinary team members with the goal of achieving an exceptional patient experience.
- Identifies high risk patients and works with the appropriate services and interdisciplinary team members to achieve the best possible patient care and outcomes.
- Promotes shared decision making with patients in regards to healthcare; educates the patient and/or family regarding the patient's clinical condition, treatment, and their role in their healthcare decisions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
