As a key member of the company's Environmental Sustainability Team, the Sustainability Director will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive sustainability strategy that aligns with Catalent's purpose, values, and people strategies. This includes:

  • Leading the development of a sustainability framework to identify and mitigate environmental risks and opportunities
  • Managing consultants and experts to provide sustainability services and support
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement sustainability projects and initiatives
  • Providing design advice to sites to improve their sustainability status and reduce environmental impact
  • Supporting Environment, Social, Governance (ESG) reporting efforts and ensuring data-driven decision-making

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree in Sustainability, Engineering, or a related field, with at least 5 years of relevant work experience. Proven effectiveness in data-driven program design and execution, working familiarity with sustainability frameworks (BREEAM, LEED, WELL, etc.), and excellent communication and leadership skills are essential.

The anticipated salary range for this position in Maryland is $175,787 - $180,204, plus bonus, when eligible. The final salary offered to a successful candidate may vary, and will be dependent on several factors. Catalent is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions that work in other states.
