- Accept and return patient phone calls, and call in prescriptions to patients' pharmacies.
- Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing and following standards and procedures.
- Keep supplies ready by inventorying and stocking exam rooms.
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading professional publications.
Requirements
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification is required.
- At least one year of experience in primary care/internal medicine is a must.
- EMR knowledge and eClinicalWorks EMR knowledge are a plus.
- Primary care medication knowledge and excellent customer service and communication skills are essential.
- Dependability, hard work, and a team player attitude are required.
