Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Underground Foreman to join our team at Texstar Enterprises, Inc.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a motivated and safety-conscious individual to lead our underground construction crew. As an Underground Foreman, you will be responsible for ensuring that all work sites are safely set up and that all work is executed in accordance with company policies and practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely lead the underground construction crew in executing daily planned production
  • Ensure materials issuances, usage, and reporting are consistent with company policies and practices
  • Set up jobs for most effective daily production by organizing workload and coordinating activities of others
  • Capture crew production each day and report to supervisors/project managers
  • Oversee training of new crew members and assist with development of new technical procedures
  • Fully utilize aerial lift devices, lasher, and hand tools while maintaining supplies, tools, equipment, and work areas
Requirements
  • Minimum five (5) to seven (7) years of telecommunications construction experience
  • Minimum two (2) years of Foreman experience
  • Prior work related to quality control inspection preferred
  • A valid drivers license required with a good driving record (Class A CDL is a plus)
  • Travel is required
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
  • Proficient in the use of office hardware and software (PCs, Tablets, Printers, Copiers, Microsoft, Google, etc.)
  • Authorized to work in the United States
