Job Description:

This role provides professional nursing care within an assigned unit; coordinates care planning with other disciplines. The ideal candidate will be able to complete nursing history, initiate patient education, and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members.

Responsibilities:

  • Implementing a plan of care appropriate to diagnosis and evaluating care outcomes.
  • Problem-solving and coordinating unit/patient care assignments, with supervision.
  • Introducing new employees/students to unit routines and participating on unit-based committees.
  • Supervising LPNs, Nursing Assistants, HUCs, Techs, and sitters, following policies, procedures, and safety standards.
  • Completing required education assignments annually and working towards achieving goals and objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Tennessee State RN license.
  • New graduate, within first year of orientation.

Salary Information:

The estimated salary for this position is around $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
