We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Development and Fundraising Manager to join our team at The Quad Preparatory School, an innovative institution committed to empowering neurodiverse students. About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive fundraising strategies, including annual giving campaigns, major gifts, grants, and special events. This involves coordinating events, managing donor databases, preparing reports, and facilitating communication with donors and stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Development & Fundraising: Assist in planning and executing development initiatives, monitor fundraising performance metrics, analyze data to assess campaign effectiveness, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Donor Relations: Conduct prospect research, cultivate and steward relationships with current and potential donors, develop tailored communication strategies to engage and retain donors, and manage donor acknowledgment and reporting.
  • Data Management: Provide oversight and strategy for effective use of donor databases, maintain and update donor records, ensure accuracy and confidentiality, track donor contributions, and provide regular progress updates.
  • Grants & Corporate Sponsorships: Research and identify potential grant opportunities and corporate sponsors, prepare and submit grant proposals and reports, track grant deadlines, and ensure compliance with reporting requirements.
  • Communications and Marketing: Collaborate with the Communications team to develop content for newsletters, social media, and other communication channels, work closely with the Director of Development and Communication to ensure alignment with the organization's strategic goals and priorities, and create event announcements and promotional materials.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Nonprofit Management, Business, Communications).
  • 3-5 years of experience managing fundraising projects, or an equivalent, in a fast-paced, professional environment; preference for experience in a nonprofit role.
  • Excellent writing skills with experience developing and managing content for multiple audiences and channels.
  • Experience managing and growing relationships with stakeholders or supporters.
  • Attention to detail, a proven ability to stay organized, and an enjoyment of collaborating closely with team members to move projects forward.

  • A competitive salary range of $70,000 - $75,000 per year.
