EDI Analyst

Gainwell Technologies is seeking a skilled EDI Analyst to join our team. As an EDI Analyst, you will play a critical role in the implementation and support of healthcare electronic data interchange (EDI) solutions. Your expertise will be essential in providing technical support during and after implementation, as well as guiding the work of less experienced personnel. You will also be responsible for evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, and developing solutions to improve EDI operations.

Key responsibilities of the EDI Analyst role include:

• Providing technical support for EDI solutions
• Guiding the work of less experienced personnel
• Evaluating business processes and developing solutions
• Conducting analysis of EDI transactions and creating related reports
• Monitoring file processing and troubleshooting issues
• Setting up and supporting file automation processes
• Performing quality, user acceptance, and regression testing

The ideal candidate for this role will have 5 or more years of experience in healthcare EDI, with a strong understanding of HIPAA/EDI X12 5010 transactions. They will also have experience with data validation and translation/mapping software, as well as unit, quality assurance, and regression testing. Additionally, they will have experience providing technical support for ANSI X12 trading partners and have a strong understanding of healthcare experience, particularly in Medicaid and Medicare.
