We're seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Behavior Technician, where they will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children with autism spectrum disorder and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach children while playing, following a treatment plan tailored to their specific needs
- Observe, play, and collect data to inform progress notes
- Help children develop essential life skills, such as motor, social, and emotional skills
- Collaborate with children to shape challenging behaviors into effective communication skills
- Provide high-quality care and support to our clients
Requirements:
- Prior experience working with children
- High energy levels, creativity, and ability to think on your feet
- Dependability and ability to establish trust with clients and their families
- Ability to move quickly and frequently, as well as work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Tech savviness, including comfort with data collection software and Microsoft Office 365
- Desire to learn, work independently, and provide exceptional care to our clients
- Fluency in Spanish and English
