Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Vascular Technologist to join our healthcare team. This role will involve performing non-invasive diagnostic procedures to assess vascular health, assisting physicians in diagnosing and treating disorders related to the circulatory system.

Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct various non-invasive vascular tests such as Doppler ultrasound, vascular imaging, arterial and venous studies, and other specialized procedures to assess blood flow and identify vascular abnormalities.
  2. Prepare patients for procedures, explain the process, and ensure their comfort and safety throughout the examination. Obtain and record patient history, and answer any questions or concerns regarding the procedure.
  3. Operate and maintain vascular ultrasound equipment, ensuring its proper functionality and adherence to quality standards. Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine maintenance as needed.
  4. Analyze test results and provide accurate and comprehensive reports to assist physicians in diagnosing vascular conditions. Maintain detailed records of procedures, patient information, and test results.
  5. Collaborate effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to interpret test results and contribute to patient treatment plans. Communicate findings and observations clearly and professionally.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Vascular Technology, Diagnostic Medical Sonography, or related field.
  • Certification as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or Registered Vascular Sonographer (RVS) preferred.
  • Proficient in operating vascular ultrasound equipment and related technology.
  • Strong knowledge of vascular anatomy, physiology, and pathology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in performing diagnostic procedures and recording results.

Compensation:
This full-time position offers a $70,000 - $90,000 per year salary commensurate with experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, retirement savings plans, paid time off, and holidays.
