About the Role We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse II to join our team at Northern Light Home Care and Hospice in Waterville. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring the well-being of our patients and their families.

About the Position This is a dynamic role that requires a strong clinical background and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced environment and be able to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team. You will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments, developing individualized care plans, and providing education to patients and their families.

Responsibilities Some of your key responsibilities will include:
  • Maintaining accurate and detailed records of patient interactions and interventions.
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Developing and implementing individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
  • Providing education and support to patients and their families on various health-related topics.
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless transitions of care.

Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications:
  • A valid Registered Nurse license in the State of Maine.
  • An Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (or equivalent).
  • At least one year of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
