About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated Medical Laboratory Scientist to perform tests related to patient diagnosis and treatment. The ideal candidate will utilize medical laboratory procedures, correlate patient data, and exercise professional judgment in interpreting test results.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance of equipment, recognizing and documenting poor instrument performance.
  • Accurately perform low, medium, and high complexity testing procedures according to established protocols and regulatory requirements.
  • Report critical test results to physicians, nursing stations, or physician offices according to established protocols.
  • Monitor supply inventory and take action to ensure availability of necessary supplies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree Required.
  • Medical Technologist (MT), Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS), Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) or equivalent certification by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) required or registry eligible and obtained within 1 year of hire date.
  • Completion of medical technology training required.
