As a key member of our team, the Receptionist plays a vital role in providing exceptional customer service. Key responsibilities include:

  • Welcoming customers in a professional manner and directing them to the appropriate person or department.
  • Operating the switchboard telephone system and communicating with callers in a professional, friendly, and efficient manner.
  • Taking thorough messages, indicating the caller's name, company name (if applicable), time, and message.
  • Providing basic information to callers with general inquiries.
  • Assisting with filing duties and other administrative tasks as needed.
  • Preparing sales and service gas tickets for the Accounting Department.
  • Serving as a backup to the Sales Department Cashier.
  • Assisting the General Manager with various clerical duties as needed.
  • Attending meetings and trainings as scheduled.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.
  • Providing friendly, professional, courteous, and efficient service to all customers and employees.

Requirements for this role include:

  • A High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to operate a multi-line switchboard.
  • The ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
  • The ability to work well with the public.
