Accelerate Trading Systems with High-Speed Hardware Designs

At Optiver, we're pushing the boundaries of trading system performance with cutting-edge hardware designs. As a Junior FPGA Engineer, you'll work closely with our team of traders, software developers, and infrastructure engineers to accelerate network infrastructure and trading system components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and implement new low-latency techniques and platforms to integrate with our trading system
  • Design, code, test, and verify FPGAs and/or ASICs to ensure seamless integration with cutting-edge server hardware
  • Collaborate with software developers to rapidly deliver integrated systems
  • Manage relationships with 3rd party vendors to ensure timely delivery of hardware components

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in CE, EE, CS, or related technical field
  • Experience designing, coding, testing, and verifying FPGAs and/or ASICs
  • Proficiency in VHDL, Verilog, SystemVerilog, C, and C++
  • Experience with RTL synthesis, writing timing, area, and other relevant constraints
  • Experience with digital simulators and self-checking test benches
