Michael Page is seeking an experienced Electrical Field Engineer - Industrial Construction to join their team in the Phoenix market. This role will involve overseeing project controls and management of multiple disciplines, with responsibilities including contract administration, project planning, scheduling, procurement, and project reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversight of project controls and management of multiple disciplines.
  • Responsibility for specific areas of the project, including direct support to craft superintendents, quantity collection, scheduling, contract administration, project planning, and scheduling.
  • Location & Travel Details: Up to 75% travel required.
  • Represent the company professionally in all client interactions.
  • Provide clients with contract-requisite reports (weekly, monthly, schedule).
  • Understand and adhere to corporate safety plans and site-specific safety plans.
  • Perform quantity calculations by taking measurements and determining percentage of completed/installed materials and work.
  • Develop processes for creation and review of work plans and work packages.
  • Support ensuring site quality plans are communicated, and all inspections and quality documentation is completed on time and assembled for final turnover.
  • Manage compilation, processing, and customer approval of daily labor timesheets.
  • Compile and distribute weekly average labor rates to front-line supervision.
  • Train craft and staff employees to complete job safety analyses (JSAs).
  • Participate in or lead jobsite safety reviews, toolbox meetings, mass safety meetings, and safety training.
  • Order, schedule material deliveries, and develop procurement status reports.
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate work groups on the jobsite.
  • Perform material takeoffs from drawings, specifications, and other contract documents.
  • Perform basic engineering calculations and technical drafting to support field operations.
  • Assist engineers in gathering and preparing data for submittal or transmittal to customers, vendors, subcontractors, governmental agencies, and internal use.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • 2+ years as a Field Engineer or Project Engineer for an electrical contractor or in an electrical/MEP role with an industrial general contractor.
  • Proven project experience in the industrial or commercial markets, $20M+.
  • Comfortable leading projects and managing large project teams, including interfacing with owners as needed.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
  • Strong oral communication and written skills.
  • Proficiency in software Viewpoint, BIM, Prolog, etc. is a plus.
  • OSHA 30 Hr Certification required.
Compensation and Benefits

The successful Electrical Field Engineer - Industrial Construction will receive:

  • Base salary: $90,000-$110,000, depending on experience.

  • Company vehicle and gas card, top-of-the-market per diem when traveling.
