Job Title: Assembly Technician

Lehigh Valley Electro Optics Company is seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble and test electro-optical components and sub-assemblies with high precision and attention to detail.
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to company standards and regulations.
  • Accurately document inventory records, parts used, and additional parts needed, ensuring system accuracy and efficiency.
  • Report defective materials to supervisors and complete tasks as directed by the manufacturing schedule.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education with a technical background is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
  • Excellent manual dexterity and ability to work with small parts.
  • Mechanical aptitude and proficiency in using common hand tools.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, as well as communicate effectively with colleagues.
Additional Requirements:
  • Experience with soldering stations and basic soldering skills (surface mount and thru-hole) is a plus.
  • Ability to use a multimeter and read electronics schematics.
