Lehigh Valley Electro Optics Company is seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:- Assemble and test electro-optical components and sub-assemblies with high precision and attention to detail.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to company standards and regulations.
- Accurately document inventory records, parts used, and additional parts needed, ensuring system accuracy and efficiency.
- Report defective materials to supervisors and complete tasks as directed by the manufacturing schedule.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- High School diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education with a technical background is a plus.
- Excellent manual dexterity and ability to work with small parts.
- Mechanical aptitude and proficiency in using common hand tools.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, as well as communicate effectively with colleagues.
- Experience with soldering stations and basic soldering skills (surface mount and thru-hole) is a plus.
- Ability to use a multimeter and read electronics schematics.
