Salary: $27.84-$45.46 per hour based on previous work experience.
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiovascular Imaging Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent patient care skills, be able to maintain a sterile environment, and work closely with a team of cardiologists.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare equipment before and during procedures.
- Identify and assess patient condition, preparing and positioning them for care.
- Maintain a sterile environment and establish protocols as needed.
- Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participating in orientation and training programs.
- Use downtime effectively by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and completing delegated tasks.
- Maintain strong professional relationships with physicians and leadership to ensure excellent patient care.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Completion of a 24-month formal program or military program in Radiologic Technology, with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligibility and/or current RCIS certification.
- Previous procedural area experience is preferred.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technology registration, Registered and/or RCIS, Cardiovascular (CV) or (CI) and/or (VI) certification is preferred.
- BLS training is required; ACLS training must be achieved within 6 months of hire.
