Track Coach

Job Summary

Bethel Christian School seeks an experienced Track Coach to provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to our student-athletes. As a key member of our coaching team, you will be responsible for organizing and implementing training sessions that focus on the development of skills and athletic performance in a supportive and faith-based environment.

About the Position

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with other coaches to develop strategies and practice plans that promote teamwork and individual athlete growth. You will lead by example, instilling values of perseverance, sportsmanship, and character in our young athletes. In addition, you will be responsible for fostering a positive, safe, and engaging learning environment that promotes both personal and athletic growth.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement training sessions that cater to the needs of student-athletes
• Collaborate with other coaches to develop strategies and practice plans
• Foster a positive, safe, and engaging learning environment
• Lead by example, instilling values of perseverance, sportsmanship, and character
• Motivate and inspire student-athletes to achieve their potential

Requirements

• Candidates must have previous coaching experience in track and field or a related sport
• A strong understanding of techniques, strategies, and rules is essential
• Candidates should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A genuine passion for coaching and commitment to the growth and development of student-athletes are required
• Ability to foster a positive, safe, and engaging learning environment
• Proven ability to inspire and motivate young athletes to achieve their potential
• A personal faith in Jesus Christ, aligning with the values and mission of the school
• Must pass a background check and adhere to all school safety policies and guidelines

Salary and Hours

This position offers $16.00 per hour with up to 15 hours per week.
