About the Job:We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in the Gastroenterology department at UPMC. This is a full-time, day shift position with no weekends or holidays required.
Job Summary:
The successful candidate will provide professional nursing care to office patients under the supervision of patient care providers. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Draw blood for laboratory tests
- Administer medications as prescribed by physicians
- Assist physicians with examinations, diagnostic procedures, and treatments
- Take vital signs and record patient information
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
Requirements:
