Probo Medical is seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our team in Milwaukee, WI.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payroll administration, with experience managing multi-state payroll functions. They will be responsible for performing HR and payroll-related duties on a professional level, including reviewing timecards, preparing and processing bi-weekly payroll, and ensuring compliance with all applicable state and federal wage and hour laws.

Job Responsibilities
  • Reviews timecards for completeness and accuracy, resolving discrepancies with supervisors as needed.
  • Prepares and processes bi-weekly payroll for multiple U.S. and Canadian locations, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
  • Analyzes and inputs payroll data, including garnishments, vacation time, sick time, insurance, and 401(k) deductions, utilizing automated systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Maintains employee records, ensuring accurate and timely updates, and reviews changes for proper authorization and adherence to company policy.
  • Responds to unemployment claims, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, reviewing policies and practices to ensure ongoing compliance.
  • Assists with year-end payroll requirements and annual state-specific reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or related field preferred.
  • Two+ years of experience in payroll administration, preferably with multi-state knowledge.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products, with experience using automated payroll systems.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits, including health, dental, and vision insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
