We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Childhood Education Associate to join our team at Creative Times Academy.

About the Role

This full-time or part-time position involves supporting our experienced teachers in delivering high-quality education to young children. As an Early Childhood Education Associate, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment that promotes cognitive, social, and emotional development.

Responsibilities
  • Support teaching staff in planning and implementing lesson plans, activities, and events for preschool students.
  • Assist with daily classroom routines, including set-up and clean-up, and ensure a safe and organized learning environment.
  • Engage with children in various activities, such as arts and crafts, music, and outdoor play, promoting their creativity and physical well-being.
  • Monitor and respond to children's needs, providing support and encouragement as needed.
  • Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement strategies for individual student growth and development.
Requirements
  • Possess a strong understanding of early childhood education principles and practices.
  • Hold a Level II background screening clearance.
  • Be available to work a consistent schedule, Monday through Friday.
  • Complete 45 hours of state-mandated training within one year of employment.
  • Obtain a negative TB test result or provide proof of a completed physical examination every two years.
  • Acquire CPR and first aid certification within 90 days of employment and maintain it thereafter.
  • Meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting up to 40 pounds.
