Data Analytics Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analytics Specialist to join our Sales Planning & Execution team at Exact Sciences. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting the design and administration of sales force alignments, targeting, call planning, and incentive compensation programs.
Responsibilities
- Translate business needs into technical requirements utilizing a structured process (gathering, analyzing, documenting, and managing change) to assess and recommend solutions.
- Support sales incentive compensation programs data requirements gathering and plan period processing, including the end-to-end management of the Incentive Compensation accrual process: gathering required inputs, processing eligibility, report development, and delivery.
- Support sales force alignment maintenance and optimization of sales force deployment.
- Develop and deploy targeting and call planning, as well as reporting and analytics to support better decision-making.
- Establish and maintain process documentation on data architecture and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to streamline plan period processing.
- Manage field inquiries and support modeling and analytics requests within the Sales Planning & Execution team.
- Develop, build, and maintain reporting metrics, providing timely and accurate data insights to support informed decision-making.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in science, business administration, finance, mathematics, statistics, or related field with an excellent record of academic achievement.
- Demonstrated knowledge establishing sales operations strategies, such as the design and administration of alignments, call plans, and incentive compensation reward and recognition programs.
- 4+ years of experience as a business analyst or in an operations role supporting a commercial function or a hands-on technical role, technical project management, or systems development.
- Strong analytical skills, prioritization skills, business intuition, and organizational ability.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office to include Excel macros and pivot tables and Word.
- Strong data management and reporting skills, including working experience with data preparation/processing tools (e.g., SQL, Databricks), visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Qlik), and coding languages (R, SAS, Python).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the healthcare industry in Sales, Service, Operations, or similar functions.
- Adaptable, open to change, and able to work in ambiguous situations and respond to new information or unexpected circumstances.

This position is located in Madison, WI, and we offer a salary range of $85,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
