Licensed Nurse Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) to join our team at Methodist Hospital Stone Oak. As an integral part of our patient care team, you will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care by performing delegated basic patient care services.

Job SummaryThe LPN/LVN delivers high-quality, patient-centered care by performing a variety of delegated basic patient care services in collaboration with the RN and other members of the care team. This includes:
- Providing direct, evidence-based care to patients as directed by the physician or RN
- Assisting with procedures, monitoring, or other functions as directed
- Performing lab and procedural tests within the LVN/LPN scope of practice, after demonstrating competency
- Documenting the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner
- Serving as a resource to department staff, students, and volunteers to help deliver quality patient care
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent experience
- Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) license
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification obtained within 30 days of employment start date
This is a full-time opportunity with a competitive salary and benefits package. The estimated salary range for this position is $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
