Job Title: Medical Care Coordinator

AdeIphi MedicaI Staffing is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in Philadelphia, PA. This 13-week contract position offers a competitive salary and opportunities for professional growth.

About the Role:

  • This LPN will work closely with RNs and physicians to deliver direct nursing care, encompassing medication administration, wound care, and vital signs monitoring.
  • The ideal candidate will perform comprehensive patient assessments, including physical exams, medical histories, and medication reviews.
  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments accurately, adhering to established protocols.
  • Evaluate and manage wounds, incisions, and injuries while monitoring for infection or complications.

Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain detailed and precise patient records, recording changes in their condition, administered treatments, and medication management.
  2. Educate patients and their families on their medical conditions, prescribed medications, and self-care practices.
  3. Closely monitor intravenous (IV) medications and fluids, ensuring proper insertion and functioning of IV lines.
  4. Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.
  5. Address patient comfort and safety requirements, including positioning, mobility assistance, and pain management.
  6. Respond effectively during medical emergencies, adhering to established protocols.

Requirements:

  • Valid and active Licensed Practical Nurse State license.
  • BLS certification.

Compensation: The estimated salary for this position is $1,720-$1,556 per week, depending on the candidate's experience and location.
