About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate individual to join our team as a Behavioral Health Clinician - Crisis Intervention Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for providing urgent care services to clients experiencing acute and urgent needs for behavioral healthcare.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations and stabilization interventions to support clients and families in crisis.
- Develop and implement short-term treatment plans to address client needs and ensure safety.
- Provide side-by-side interventions to clients and families, focusing on problem-solving, skills training, and encouragement.
- Collaborate with other clinicians and community resources to ensure comprehensive care and support.
- Document client progress and provide regular updates to the treatment team.
Requirements:
- Masters degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field; or Doctorate in Psychology and licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- Strong diagnostic skills, competence in crisis intervention, and ability to develop short-term interventions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport with diverse populations.
- Computer literacy and proficiency in electronic medical records.
