Shift Leader Job Summary

Popeyes is seeking a skilled Shift Leader to join our team. As a Shift Leader, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant during your shift. This includes managing team members, maintaining high-quality food and service standards, and resolving guest concerns in a timely and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate team members to achieve operational excellence
  • Ensure accurate inventory management and waste tracking
  • Monitor and maintain Quality, Service, and Cleanliness Standards (QSC)
  • Resolve guest complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Collaborate with the General Manager to improve guest metrics and feedback
  • Develop and implement action plans to address Employee Engagement, Voice of the Guest, and Operational Assessments

Requirements

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to resolve issues in compliance with Popeyes' standards
  • Must have a friendly and courteous demeanor
  • Is a team player
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must be able to take direction and feedback professionally as well as delegate responsibilities
  • Able to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays

Physical Demands

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds of force frequently to move objects
  • Ability to carry products/boxes and miscellaneous weighing no more than 50 pounds
  • Consistently handles product preparation
  • Ability to kneel to utilize proper lifting procedures and to open safe
  • Consistently lifts for product preparation, stocking, and inventory
