About the Opportunity

The ideal candidate will work closely with the Director of People Operations to develop key initiatives aligned with the organization's mission, vision, and strategic plan. As the primary support for day-to-day tactical People Operations functions, you will thrive in a high-performance, collaborative environment that values diversity and inclusion.

A Day in the Life

  • Under the guidance of the Director, establish, document, and deliver HR policy and practices ensuring compliance with HR laws and regulations.
  • Maintain data integrity and optimize the HRIS tool using Paylocity experience.
  • Support ongoing and annual audits by extracting and interpreting reports, data, and analytics.
  • Be the point of contact for employees regarding 401k, open enrollment, benefits administration, COBRA, unemployment, and other HR-related inquiries.
  • Oversee the outsourced payroll provider to ensure accurate payroll processing and compliance with compensation guidelines.
  • Assist the Director in identifying training and development opportunities.
  • Support and lead tactical HR functions, including talent acquisition, onboarding, employee relations, payroll, benefits, and more.
  • Report to the Beaverton office once a week for mail, critical document scanning, and required meetings.

Your Expertise

  • 5+ years of experience as a Senior HR Generalist with emphasis on HR project management.
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field, along with HR certification preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices across multiple states.
  • Prior experience with Paylocity and project management tools is essential.
  • Demonstrate strong writing and editing skills, as well as collaboration and thorough communication skills.
  • Professional confidence to work with senior leaders and experience working in a remote environment with team members spread across multiple time zones.
  • Strategic, logical, and decision-making skills are necessary for this role.

Compensation Package

This contract position offers a competitive hourly rate of $40-$45 per hour, along with access to benefits through our payroll partner, including medical, dental, vision, 401k, paid sick time, and more.
