Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Imaging Technologist to join our team. As a Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist, you will play a crucial role in preparing and assisting with cardiovascular procedures, ensuring patient safety and a sterile environment. This position requires teamwork with cardiologists and electrophysiologists, as well as serving as a mentor for new staff and students.
Responsibilities- Prepare equipment before and during procedures.
- Identify and assess patient condition, prepare, position, and provide patient care.
- Establish and maintain a sterile environment.
- Serve as preceptor for new hires and radiology students and participate in the orientation of new staff.
- Use downtime appropriately by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated tasks by Charge person or manager.
- Maintain strong professional working relationship with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care.
- Complete Cath Lab RT Orientation within 6 months.
- Complete all competencies listed in department policy within 6 months.
- Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program.
- One year of experience working in a Cath Lab preferred.
- Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist - ARRT or Registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS.
$27.84-$45.46/hr based on previous work experience
