Covenant HealthCare is seeking a skilled Marketing Lead Specialist to provide leadership and supervision for all marketing employees. This role involves developing a marketing plan, providing orientation for new marketing staff, and ongoing staff development. The successful candidate will be responsible for recommending changes in procedures consistent with new technology and advancements in the home care, hospice, infusion, and home medical setting. They will ensure compliance with policies and procedures to meet regulatory and accreditation requirements. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent customer service performance, with a strong understanding of the Vision, Mission, and Values of Covenant HealthCare and a commitment to Extraordinary Care for Every Generation.

Responsibilities:

* Develop and implement a strategic marketing plan for all VNA services to support the strategic plans of the VNA.
* Develop and implement an orientation and education plan for all marketing staff.
* Review productivity weekly and modify the plan and staff schedules as needed.
* Analyze data and modify the current marketing plan as needed based on results.
* Develop reports to present to VNA leadership.
* Present the marketing plan to VNA leadership and coordinate the implementation strategy with VNA service lines.
* Monitor relationships with all referral sources, including hospitals, physician offices, skilled nursing facilities, independent and assisted living facilities, adult foster care homes, and community agencies.
* Provide input to the manager/director regarding the progress of the marketing staff.
* Be responsible for special projects.
* Assist with the hiring of marketing staff.
* Exhibit excellent professional standards and utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills while meeting the needs of VNA patients, families, and VNA staff.
* Promote collaborative efforts among all VNA programs.
* Expand the visibility and understanding of VNA through community education and personal contact with all referral sources.
* Collaborate with all managers in preparing special brochures and other materials needed to educate and promote all programs and services.
* Provide consultation to all program managers assisting in the expansion or enhancement of their programs.
* Provide education to staff and other customers on all VNA service lines and options as requested.
* Develop a database of marketing information.
* Assist with follow-up needed between VNA service lines and referral sources.
* Attend community meetings and events.
* Demonstrate excellent customer service with all contacts.
* Contribute to the organization's success targets for patient satisfaction and net operating margin.
* Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

* Bachelor's Degree in healthcare, marketing, or a related field.
* Two years' experience in Community Education/Community Relations.
* Home care experience preferred.
* Expertise in the provision of VNA services.
* Understanding of all VNA programs and regulations.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Sales experience.
* Comfortable with the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, email, and other basic computer programs.
* Knowledge of software systems used within Covenant VNA and Covenant HealthCare.
* Demonstrates critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
* Demonstrates team leadership ability in healthcare.
* Demonstrated ability to delegate tasks to team members.
* Able to promote all VNA services.
* Motivated, self-starter, uses professional judgment.
* Able to function independently with minimal supervision.
* Able to type 30 words/minute.
* Ability to oversee multiple projects.
* Ability to work cooperatively with other departments and programs.

Working Conditions/Physical Demands:

* Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards.
* Constant, talking, hearing, tasting, smelling, near vision, midrange vision, far vision, depth perception, visual accommodation, color vision, and field of vision.
* Frequent standing, walking, sitting, twisting, reaching, handling, fingering, and feeling.
* Occasional lifting 0-50 lbs.
* Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, squatting, and crawling.
