Master Automotive Technician

Job Summary:
The Certified Automotive Technician position at Hertz is a key role in our maintenance team, focusing on diagnostic and repair of complex vehicle systems. As a master technician, you will be responsible for keeping all equipment in running condition through our effective preventative maintenance program, as well as handling complex repairs such as engine and transmission overhauls.
This role assumes a leadership position with product knowledge and a standard of quality. You will work independently, repairing vehicles without oversight, while also collaborating with the team to achieve common goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform vehicle repairs without oversight
- Repair vehicles independently, while also working well in a team environment
- Use shop equipment such as lifts, tire changing equipment, alignment machines, and scan tools
Requirements:
- At least three (3) years of vehicle maintenance experience
- Knowledge: Must be able to perform vehicle repairs without oversight
- Ability to repair vehicles independently, while also having experience working well in a team environment
- Experience using shop equipment such as lifts, tire changing equipment, alignment machines, and scan tools
Additional Notes:
Must have tools to perform necessary repairs
