Job Summary:

The Community Resource Center Specialist II will play a critical role in building relationships with community members, healthcare providers, and internal stakeholders to promote access to healthcare programs and services. This role will support the planning, development, and implementation of community outreach and engagement initiatives to increase member traffic at our Community Resource Centers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community members, healthcare providers, and internal stakeholders to promote access to healthcare programs and services.
  • Support the planning, development, and implementation of community outreach and engagement initiatives to increase member traffic at our Community Resource Centers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to provide customer service, social services support, care management, health education resources, and behavioral health services.
  • Provide ongoing member assistance and follow-up in select cases.
  • Support the coordination of member-centric customer service to respond and resolve inquiries and questions.
  • Implement child development activities and programs to support children's development while parents and guardians attend a class or service appointment at the CRC.
  • Perform high-quality in-person service and contribute to the extended-hour schedule of the CRC to support members and visitors that may need services outside of regular operating hours and days.
Requirements:
  • Associate's Degree or equivalent education and/or experience.
  • At least 6 months of community work focused on healthcare, public health, or health education or at least 6 months of operations work experience, community events, leading projects, and supporting relationships with multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience with data entry and reporting processes.
  • Previous experience in child development activities is preferred.

  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
  • Organizational skills.
  • Detail-oriented, collaborative, and enthusiastic team player.
  • Ability to assist with inquiries and identify creative solutions to assist members and community stakeholders.
  • Ability to troubleshoot problem areas and support effective alternative solutions and provide optimal customer service for internal and external customers.
