Job Description:

As a Production Team Manager at Kayem Foods, you will be responsible for directing and coordinating activities to ensure the proper assembly, set-up, and operation of the department. This includes planning department operations, reviewing production schedules, and resolving operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review production schedules to plan department operations and ensure production meets specifications
  • Coordinate manufacturing activities to optimize production and quality
  • Resolve operational and maintenance issues to minimize costs and prevent delays
  • Develop and implement standard operational practices and observe workers to ensure compliance
  • Manage subordinate team leaders and coordinate work among up to 15-25 employees
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should have one to three years of supervisory experience, preferably in food processing. A BS/BA degree is preferred or an equivalent combination of experience and college education. Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are a plus.

Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
