Highly Skilled Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Wanted

Job Description:
At iRecruitMD, we are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Examine and treat patients to assure continuity of care.
- Conduct thorough assessments of each patient, taking into account their presenting problem, medical history, allergies, psycho-social problems, medications, and current living arrangement.
- Review lab values that are abnormal and plan appropriate disposition/treatment in absence of the primary physician.
- Demonstrate expertise in providing care suitable for patients of various ages.
- Identify the need for client/family teaching and/or referrals, and prioritize patient needs based on assessment and patient's verbalized areas of concern.
- Develop a plan for teaching that addresses patients' assessed and stated needs.
Education Requirements:
A Master’s Degree in Nursing with an emphasis on psychiatric medicine from an accredited program is required.
Compensation and Benefits:
The compensation for this position is competitive and based on experience (DOE), with a comprehensive benefits package including health, vision, dental, loan repayment, relocation assistance, and paid time off.
Requirements:
- Must be licensed in Massachusetts or have the ability to obtain licensure.
- Must have a clean record.
Estimated Salary Range: $120,000 - $150,000 per year. This estimate is based on national averages and may vary depending on location and experience.
