Phlebotomy Technician

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Phlebotomy Technician to join our team at Providence Health & Service. This role will involve collecting and processing blood specimens, providing assessment and care for patients, and assisting with outpatient specimen collection and processing.
About the Role: As a Senior Laboratory Assistant, you will be responsible for inoculating microbiology specimens onto primary media and processing specimens for referral testing. You will also provide excellent patient care and communication skills to ensure a positive experience for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect and process blood specimens
- Provide assessment and care for patients
- Assist with outpatient specimen collection and processing
- Inoculate microbiology specimens onto primary media
- Process specimens for referral testing
Requirements: California Certified Phlebotomy Technician I License or California Certified Phlebotomy Technician II License required. Preferred Qualifications: 1 year of laboratory phlebotomy experience.
Compensation: The estimated salary for this role is $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. Benefits include comprehensive health insurance, retirement plan, paid time off, and more.
