About the Role:

  • We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual to provide direct patient care in all dental specialties, including orthodontics, pediatric dentistry, periodontics, and oral surgery.
  • The ideal candidate will assist dentists during various treatment procedures, prepare necessary tools and instruments, and ensure a seamless experience for patients.

Responsibilities:

  1. Patient Care: Provide assistance during treatment procedures, record findings, and maintain infection control protocols.
  2. Surgical Support: Assist with surgical procedures, take impressions of teeth, and develop dental radiographs (x-rays).
  3. Office Management: Perform administrative tasks, communicate with patients and suppliers, and manage office operations.
  4. Education and Training: Teach patients proper oral hygiene strategies and provide instructions on post-surgical care.

Requirements:

  • A high school diploma and associate's degree or postsecondary certification in dental assistance.
  • At least one year of experience in dental assisting.
  • Dental radiology certification, such as DANB CDA or minimum DANB.
